Bristol Resilience Scheme - An Overview
The Bristol Resilience Scheme is a £22 million project that will provide improved security of supply to 150,000 customers in central Bristol. Two new pipelines will be laid and a new pumping station built. This new network will allow us to move water from our northern sources into the heart of Bristol in the event of a loss of supply from our southern, Mendip based sources. Additionally, it will ensure we have an increased water supply available to meet the growth of residential and commercial developments in the North Bristol area.
The project is split into two phases: The North Bristol Trunk Main and The Durdham Down scheme. To find out more about either of these phases click on the leaflets.
Check the news section for current information on the project’s progress.
